“So fortunate to have stumbled across this paper crane in the Japanese food section at a local Woolies. Thanks @papercraneofhope, such a cool thing you’re doing. I’m glad to have found it, never find this kind of stuff!!”
“Woohoo our Brewers found a paper crane in our garden left by @papercraneofhope, keep your eyes open for them over Christmas beer lovers. Big love.
We love what you do @papercraneofhope.
And finding this little beauty was definitely one of the highlights of our week. ”
“Have you heard of @papercraneofhope ? It’s beautiful found leaves paper cranes with inspiring messages and they always seem to be found by the people who need them most.
And the next recipient will be ** ! She has a rainbow of paper cranes coming her way to spread hope and healing.
You know how I know this is meant to be? @papercraneofhope drew a picture of the rainbow Care Bear, “Cheer Bear”, on the envelope. What she didn’t know is that ** has her very own Cheer Bear that she takes everywhere with her. Cheer Bear goes to every doctors appointment and chemotherapy session and takes away her fears and makes her feel safe and brave. Cheer Bear is very important to ** and I think it’s completely amazing that @papercraneofhope drew Cheer Bear for her. Is anyone else feeling the butterflies? ”
“I just had to share this- the other week, we found this little paper crane at the cafe I work at- left by the beautiful soul at @papercraneofhope. Words carry so much influence- I love the quiet way this lady has a creative ministry of blessing to those who find these little paper cranes and read the messages of hope written on them. Whatever your gift- it can be used to bring life and joy! Prov 16:24 “Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul...”
“Omg omg omg! Mamma found one! Found a #papercraneofhope! I saw online that @papercraneofhope had left her beautifully crafted crane with a message for its finder in the girls loo (on the soap dispenser- not in the cubicle but there were people around and if I took a photo I’d might just be... Ya know- weird.) at the shops this morning. So at 3.30pm I didn’t expect to still see it there but it was! The message today- Be Blessed! Oh Mamma is so blessed! A Bub and a “job” that let’s me be creative with my cam EVERYDAY. That connects a community. That inspires families. That let’s me (and all we drag along) play with this kid in some AMAZING spots all over the East. Yes. This Mamma is BLESSED.”
“I’m so thrilled that this beautiful #papercraneofhope waited for us this afternoon! My 1 year old was down for his nap and my hubby was on his way home from golf when I saw your post, so as soon as he got home, my 3 year old and I made our way to The Salvo’s and to my delight your crane was perched proudly in this teacup! Thank you for spreading kindness!”
“Your work is amazingly beautiful and so are you! I was struck with the cute little art piece you left behind at my work today, let alone the message on it! Thank you. ”
“I finally found a #papercraneofhope in the wild!!! Last year I won a competition and this lovely lady mailed cranes to me and from then on it was my mission to find one in the wild. I completed said mission today. Lucky I looked at Instagram while in the car wash next door to where the crane was hiding. ”
“That’s a beautiful act and gift to someone else. What a lovely message. We’re privleged to have been the location for this #papercraneofhope . Love #eastfieldnaturalfoods. “
“I found this paper crane at Little Cinos and can honestly say you made my day when you left it there, definitely needed to hear those words that day! Thank you! ”
“It was me who found it! Thank you for your message, I really needed to hear that.
(The message being- Believe in yourself.)”
“Thank you for your kindness @papercraneofhope . Gave me chills, just what I needed- on so many levels. Thank you . When random acts of kindness mean more than anyone will ever know.”
“This crane brightened my day! It’s my 20th birthday today and this little blessing couldn’t have been more appreciated! My friend and I couldn’t believe the kindness and happiness that this one little act from a stranger brought! Thanks for putting smiles on people’s faces.”
Hi Sam. My 5 year old son found your paper crane at Coles.
Thank you for leaving that, it’s a beautiful idea. He kept asking, who did this lol.
“I was the finder of this. I work at Aldi and had it today sitting next to my register and a lovely man came through who looked broken. We began chatting and he revealed he lost his 17 year old son just before Christmas to suicide.
My heart broke. We finished the transaction, I saw him packing his item and just felt like he needed this paper crane. So I walked over to him and said, “Sometimes the Universe gives us little messages and I feel you could use this to remind you that there is hope out there.”
He was so grateful, almost tears in his eyes, he walked out with it in the palm of his hands. ”
“Found the paper crane! It says “Love your body, love your mind, love yourself” which is so so apt for me today given I’ve been feeling so sick and disappointed with my body for not being “better yet”. - So lovely to know that the beautiful anonymous local woman behind @papercraneofhope is spreading joy wherever she goes.” ”
“Found your crane in the park this afternoon while my son was playing. I posted this quote on Monday when he was having surgery. He is fine but has been a rough week. Then finding your crane today with that same quote written on was amazing! It’s also the first thing I put in his nursery when I found out I was pregnant. I think I needed just to see it and really read it again. xoxo”
